Job Title
Perform field inspection of highway, roadway, bridge, and structural construction activities, confirming work conforms to approved plans, specifications, applicable standards, and is executed with a high level of quality throughout the duration of the project
Support construction administration efforts, including review of submittals and coordination with the broader project team throughout construction.
Evaluate materials and field execution in real time, identifying nonconformances early and communicating them promptly to the contractor and project team.
Serve as a clear and professional point of contact between company, the client, and the general contractor, keeping all parties informed of field conditions and emerging issues.
Prepare thorough daily field reports, photographic documentation, quantity tracking, and other project records required for the project file and applicable reporting obligations.
QualificationsActive ODOT Project Inspector prequalification at Level 1 and Level 2
Associate's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, or a related discipline
2+ years of hands-on experience on Municipal infrastructure or roadway construction projects
NICET Highway Construction Level II certification required
