Construction Manager/ Foreman, Site Manager, Civil Engineering, Concrete Crew
Thomarios Construction is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent with a strong background in heavy concrete construction to join our growing team. This leadership role will oversee field operations on medium to large commercial, healthcare, infrastructure, and parking structure projects throughout Northeast Ohio.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing self-performed and subcontracted concrete work, including foundations, cast-in-place concrete, post-tensioned structures, elevated decks, structural concrete, and complex site logistics. This position requires a hands‑on leader who can drive schedule performance, maintain quality standards, and foster a culture of safety and accountability.

POSITIONRESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead all field operations from mobilization through project completion.
- Coordinate and supervise self‑performed and subcontracted construction activities.
- Develop and execute detailed work plans for concrete operations, including foundations, structural slabs, elevated decks, post‑tension systems, and site concrete.
- Manage daily field activities to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.
- Maintain and drive project schedules through proactive planning and coordination.
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to meet production goals.
- Conduct daily site meetings, safety meetings, and subcontractor coordination meetings.
- Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
- Work closely with Project Managers to identify and resolve field issues, schedule impacts, and budget concerns.
- Manage inspections, testing, and quality control procedures.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, look‑ahead schedules, and project documentation.
- Foster a positive team environment focused on accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.
- 10+ years of construction experience with increasing field leadership responsibilities.
- Significant experience managing heavy concrete construction projects.
- Experience with cast‑in‑place concrete, post‑tensioned structures, parking garages, podium structures, healthcare facilities, bridges, or other large concrete‑intensive projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and self‑perform crews.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and means and methods.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Experience utilizing project management and documentation platforms such as Procore is preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites throughout Northeast Ohio.
