Job Description- Prepare cost estimates and bids for commercial, institutional, and municipal projects
- Analyze scope, prepare RFI's and secure subcontractor pricing
- Develop and maintain unit costs
- Prepare General Condition estimates
- Issue invitations to bid along with documents and addenda
- Prepare material take-offs
- Attend pre-bid meetings
- Minimum Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related construction experience.
- Thorough knowledge of construction and ability to read blueprints and specifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled in MS Word and MS Excel with the ability to create and maintain complex spreadsheets and documents
- Proficient use of project management software
- Organized and detail orientated
