A well‑established and highly respected Central Ohio general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in Healthcare Construction to join its growing team in Cleveland.
This is an opportunity to lead complex healthcare projects ranging from renovations within occupied facilities to large-scale additions and new construction. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys building strong client relationships, and has a proven track record of delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Manage healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and financial forecasts.
- Lead owner, architect, consultant, and subcontractor coordination efforts.
- Oversee contract administration, change management, procurement, and project reporting.
- Partner closely with field leadership to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively solving challenges.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements associated with healthcare environments.
- Coordinate project activities to minimize disruptions within active healthcare facilities when applicable.
- 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor.
- Healthcare construction experience required.
- Experience managing projects from preconstruction through turnover.
- Strong understanding of budgets, scheduling, cost controls, and contract administration.
- Ability to lead project teams and communicate effectively with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Proficiency with construction management software and project scheduling tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
