Project Manager II – Construction, Ohio Markets

• Oversee all aspects of small construction projects or defined phases of larger initiatives
• Manage in-house renovations, space build-outs, and facility improvements
• Coordinate project teams, schedules, resources, and stakeholders
• Coordinate activities of project teams under the direction of a Project Manager III or IV
• Serve as a key point of coordination among tenants, contractors, design teams, and internal partners
• Identify space requirements and communicate project impacts
• Coordinate construction activities
• Evaluate project outcomes
• Prepare and complete action plans
• Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards
• Resolve problems
• Complete audits and identify trends
• Determine system improvements and implement changes
• Contribute information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
• Participate in developing forecasting requirements, annual budgets, and expenditure schedules
• Analyze variances and initiate corrective actions
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders
• Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership of new and different requests
• Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field and three years of experience coordinating or managing various projects OR High School Diploma/GED and seven years of experience OR Associate’s Degree and five years of experience OR Master’s Degree and two years of experience
• Effective relationship building skills
• Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
• Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
• Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
• Must have own transportation to travel to multiple sites
• Occasional holidays or weekends when needed
• Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred
