Job Description:

Learning Objectives:

Understand the ways that a positive learning environment builds a culture of community in an academic setting. Gain transferable skills in peer mentorship, production support for film and media arts, graphic design, photography, sound recording and writing for Film and Media Arts. Attain experience in professional written and oral communication. Learn to plan and assist faculty and students with events that connect college and community in Film and Media Arts.

Gain experience in editing for film and social media. Hands on work with film tools.

* Consistently maintain 6 credit hours each semester;

* Maintain satisfactory academic progress;

* Adhere to College's confidentiality policy;

* Successfully pass background/drug screening;

* Answer phone and take messages;

* Clerical duties such as filing, data entry, copying and faxing;

* Open and sort mail;

* Strong interpersonal communication skills;

* Willingness to learn new technology;

* Assist with special projects;

* Other duties as assigned.
