WOIO-19 and WUAB-43 are the CBS and CW Affiliates in Cleveland, Ohio, as well as WTCL, the only Telemundo station in the Cleveland DMA. We produce 69.5 hours of live, local news, weather, and sports every week and deliver content on a 24/7 basis on our digital platforms on WOIO and WUAB, and 10+ hours of news on WTCL/WOHZ.

We're looking for a Sports MMJ/Anchor who doesn't just report the score; you tell the story behind it. At WOIO, we're digital‑first and community‑focused, meaning you'll own the sports conversation on every screen, from the big TV in the living room to the smartphone in the palm of a fan's hand. If you're a high‑energy storyteller who thrives on the adrenaline of pro sports and the heart of local athletics, we want you in Cleveland.

You will be part of a team determined to own the Cleveland sports beat from the pro sidelines of the Browns, Cavs, and Guardians to the rich tradition of Friday night high school football. This isn't just about reading highlights; you'll shoot, edit, and produce your own visually compelling content, ensuring every story has an impact. Whether you're anchoring a live segment or driving the digital conversation through podcasts, social media, and streaming shows, you'll be the voice fans trust.

You'll innovate across every platform to celebrate our local athletes and uncover the "can't‑miss" moments that define Northeast Ohio sports.

• Must have at least two years' experience in sports, preferably covering a pro sports team.
• Candidate must have a digital‑first mindset that can comfortably switch between broadcast and other long‑form formats.
• A collaborative spirit is a must for this position.
• A valid driver's license is required.
