The Baggage Agent provides support to the Baggage Service Office and ensures Baggage Service Agents effectively assist customers with delayed, damaged or pilfered baggage. Pay: $14 per hour
Shift: 3:30am
-12:00pm , 2 days a week The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
Basic Qualifications:
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* No prior experience required and on-the-job training provided
* No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Preferred Qualifications:
* One (1) year of prior work experience preferred
* Determine flight departure times and connecting carriers based on customer tickets
* Screen all passengers transferring between airlines prior to placing baggage on the return belts
* Ensure baggage tags are correct
* Direct and assist passengers with short-checked bags
* Handle misplace or lost baggage claims and provide reports to carriers
* Evaluate customers' needs concerning airline locations
