Sr. Engineer
Manage relationships with key customer accounts to provide world class customer service. Act as an advocate for the customer to confirm that customer deadlines are achieved, products are delivered to specification, and on time. Maintain high customer satisfaction by identifying, understanding, and promptly addressing customers’ needs. Work cross functionally with engineering, supply chain, operations, and other stakeholders to provide timely response to customer inquiries.
Manage customer orders from receipt of order through commissioning. Act as the main point of contact for key customers so that customers get quick responses and/or action in response to change requests, invoicing, warranty, and other service issues Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize customers service levels. Coordinate with customer to schedule startup and other field services. Become familiar with Avtron products and look for opportunities to grow sales with key accounts.
Participate in annual customer business review meetings Expedites backorders and process customer returns. Resolve invoicing and payment discrepancies. Travel less than 5%
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field or equivalent level of experience is preferred. 2 4 of relevant inside sales or customer service experience Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience using SAP and CRMs systems a plus Creative problem solver with outstanding customer service skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Team player who works well individually, as well as part of a team
