FAN ENGAGEMENT SPECIALISTThis role invites music lovers to engage guests and deliver an unforgettable experience. No prior museum experience required—just enthusiasm for music and people.
Roles & Responsibilities- Greet guests with energy, enthusiasm, and a welcoming attitude
- Support various onstage posts throughout the museum, including but not limited to entry, ticket scanning, exhibit halls, theaters, and answering phones & emails
- Actively engage with guests during their visit – answer questions, share stories, and initiate conversation
- Address guest concerns, questions, or complaints promptly and professionally, and escalate to supervisor team as needed
- Provide visitors with way finding assistance and recommendations throughout the museum
- Help with crowd flow and guest experience during high-volume events, concerts, public programs, and private events
- Maintain awareness of daily programming, live music, exhibits and special events
- Assist with opening/closing procedures as assigned
- Represent the Rock Hall brand as a visible ambassador on the museum floor
- Report operational, cleanliness, or safety issues promptly
- Duties include but may not be limited to the above

- Bilingual capabilities a bonus
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; must be able to work at least one weekend shift each weekend

- High school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to successfully pass a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame background investigation and drug screen

- Environmental Parameters:
Ability to work in a window‑less office. Ability to work in an environment with loud noise, such as house music. - Physical Demands:

Ability to lift/move items weighing up to 20 lbs. - Type:
Express or exchange ideas by means of spoken word and to perceive nature of sounds. Ability to hear accurately to interact with the public and co-workers. Demonstrate clarity of vision; judge distance and space relationships; identify and distinguish colors, numbers and figures. Ability to visually determine the accuracy of work done and observe/assess possible threats to safety. Ability to ascend or descend ladders and stairs.
Ability to bend body downwards and forward by bending spine at waist to access areas closer to the ground. Ability to bend legs lity to extend arms and hands in any direction. Ability to use upper extremities to exert force to move an object forward, and to tug behind. Ability to raise objects from a lower position to a higher position.
Ability to perceive attributes of objects, such as size, shape and characteristics. Ability to perform tasks concurrently. Work involves walking and standing most of the time but will also involve sitting for periods of time.
