Customer Service Representative

Adistribution company is seeking a Customer Service Representative who will process and input customer orders, create and monitor warehouse work requests, inbound/outbound material activity, and print order labels based on customer requirements.
Work hours are Monday through Friday 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

• Greet customers and carriers at the office window, answer office phone calls, process emails and orders, and run Inventory Reports
• Prepare work orders, bills of lading, shipping orders, inbound/outbound manifests, and other necessary documents
• Examine manifests, invoices, or orders to verify the accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments
• Maintain correspondences with customers, including receipts, and invoices
• Provide assistance in answering the telephone, resolving warehouse inventory discrepancies, and providing backup to the warehouse
• Trace and record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record keeping purposes
• Work with other representatives to rectify damages, shortages, and non-conformance to specifications
• Resolve overages, shortages, and damages, document all correspondences, and schedule appointments
• Follow attendance policy, show up for work on time, and be ready to work assigned shift
• Adhere to the site’s quality and safety standards
• Perform other office duties as assigned
