We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Client Account Representative to join a growing Client Services & Operations team. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service while supporting account administration, transaction processing, reporting, and compliance activities.
This temporary opportunity is ideal for professionals looking to build experience in financial services, operations, and client support while working in a collaborative, process-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver professional, responsive, and accurate customer service to clients.
- Serve as a first point of contact for client inquiries through various communication channels.
- Process account transactions, maintain client records, and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting activities while identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Partner with internal departments including Accounting, Operations, and Information Technology to ensure timely and accurate client support.
- Maintain organized documentation and support process improvement initiatives.
- Utilize approved technology tools to improve efficiency while ensuring accuracy and appropriate oversight.
- Follow established workflows, service standards, and operational procedures.
- Provide cross-functional support and backup coverage for team members as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service, financial services, business operations, account administration, or a related environment.
- Experience supporting client accounts, processing transactions, or maintaining records preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a structured environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new systems and software.
- Familiarity with financial transactions, account management, trust administration, donor-advised funds, or related financial products is a plus.
- Experience working in a regulated or compliance-focused environment preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
- Hands-on experience in a professional financial and operations environment.
- Exposure to client account management, reporting, and compliance processes.
