Service Porter

Salary Range: $16.00 - $21.00 Hourly

The Service Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service area and ensuring a smooth flow of vehicles and customer interactions. This role supports the service team by moving vehicles, assisting customers, and performing various tasks to enhance the overall service experience.

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner upon their arrival at the service area.
• Move and park vehicles in designated areas to ensure efficient service operations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service area, including sweeping, trash removal, and general tidiness.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to identify any damage or issues and report findings to the service team.
• Assist with the transportation of customers to and from the service center as needed.
• Ensure all vehicles are locked and secured when not in use.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the service department and enhance customer satisfaction.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a customer service or support role.
• Experience in automotive or service industry preferred.
• Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and cleaning procedures.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Basic understanding of vehicle operations and maintenance.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
