Job Summary

Coordinates communication between Court personnel and contracted service providers, addressing program issues and ensuring data collection for quality assurance. Provides quality assurance monitoring of youth-serving programs for adherence by conducting program site visits and record reviews. Supports the Training and Quality Improvement Unit in the training development for court staff and vendors, aids in contracting processes, and serves as primary liaison with contracted vendors day‑to‑day operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating, and monitoring all quality assurance and improvement programs including, but not limited to community-based programming, residential treatment programs, and all grassroots agency program outcomes.

Assists the Director of Programming in coordinating all contracted audits by facilitating visit dates, requesting records, developing quality assurance interview guides. Updates all quality assurance checklists to include all federal and state standards. Ensures compliance with contracted deliverables and proposed service models and methods.

Coordinates activities which support the management of the youth programs funded by the Court in collaboration with the Training & Quality Improvement Unit (TQI). Supports the communication flow among Court contracted service providers and Court personnel.

Conducts monitoring visits of both contracted youth services and internal Court programs.

Completes data collection and analysis for all quality assurance benchmarks. Collaborates with Court’s data team to assist in the retrieval of statistical data for use in reports, evaluation materials, and grant reporting. Collaborates with researchers from various universities to identify and collect variables for research needs. Assists in the resolution of program implementation or data collection issues.

Identifies training needs based upon audit findings. Provides training for purpose of quality improvement, specific to needs of juvenile justice involved youth, adolescent development, trauma, and evidence-based interventions in juvenile justice. Completes feedback sessions with court staff and vendors regarding audit findings/reports.

Designs, develops and writes training manuals and training programs for employee training events. Maintains calendar of upcoming training events both at the Court as well as County-wide and throughout the state for distribution to employees. Completes all logistical arrangements for in‑house and external training events. Facilitates training classes and handles room setup, registration, rosters, handouts and evaluation forms.

Obtains and maintains certification in Train the Trainer for EPICS, OYAS, and other best-practice curricula for community supervision of juvenile population.

Attends external trainings & workshops to obtain latest updates from Ohio Supreme Court Training and Ohio Court Education Coordinators’ Roundtable in order to inform the Court and identify further training needs to maintain best practices within the Court.

Aids in the development and utilization of community-based services by Probation Officers and EIDC staff. Works directly with EIDC staff to develop systems of monitoring performance and ensuring best‑practice standards are being met.
