Interior Designer​/Project Manager; Commercial​/Retail Design

Jencen Architecture is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our growing Cleveland‑area team.

As part of our collaborative design team, you’ll be involved in projects from concept through construction, including:

• Existing conditions surveys and field measurements
• Space planning and interior design development
• Construction documents and detailing
• Permit coordination and regulatory approvals
• Construction administration, shop drawing review, and site visits
• Coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies
• Collaboration with architects, interior designers, and project managers to deliver exceptional project outcomes

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design required
• 1–5 years of experience in commercial interior design
• Retail, restaurant, hospitality, or branded environment experience preferred
• Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and detailing
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills

AutoCAD proficiency is required. The majority of our current client work is produced in AutoCAD, making strong production and construction document experience essential.

Additional experience with:

• Revit
• Sketch Up
• Adobe Creative Suite

This position is based in our Cleveland‑area office. Candidates must reside within commuting distance and be available to work in-office three days per week.
