Academic Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon

Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER

The Department of Orthopaedics in The Metro Health System is seeking a board eligible/board certified Orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in spine surgery. The Metro Health System is a premier academic medical center affiliated with Case Western Reserve University and serves as the most experienced Level I Adult Trauma Center for Northeastern Ohio. Our orthopaedic residency and fellowship programs are integrated with University Hospitals and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Responsibilities

Candidates must have completed or be in the process of completing a fellowship in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery. The position will be within a busy, highly developed spine service—a joint venture between Orthopedic and Neurosurgery within the Neuromuscular Skeletal Service Line. Responsibilities include treating a high volume of complex spine trauma cases and developing a busy elective spine practice.

Qualifications
  • Board eligible or board certified Orthopaedic surgeon with focus on spine surgery.
  • Completion or progression toward an orthopaedic spine surgery fellowship.
  • Commitment to an academic career and pursuit of excellence in clinical care.
  • Faculty appointment at Case Western Reserve University, School of Medicine, will be commensurate upon experience.
