The Substitute role is an on-call, as-needed position. Opportunities to substitute will vary depending on the absence of a teacher. The daily substitute rate is $145.00/day. This is a non-benefit eligible role.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Execute a lesson plan that is assigned by the teacher.
- Provide clear instruction and assist scholars in understanding a subject matter while maintaining discipline and control of the classroom.
- Demonstrate moral focus and personal values to all stakeholders.
- Self-starter with effective classroom management skills, strong leadership, and a passion for educating students.
- Must meet state requirements for being a Substitute.
