Pre-Primary Forest School Teacher

This is a part-time, on-site role based in NE Cleveland, OH, for a Pre-Primary and Primary Forest School Facilitator. The facilitator will design and deliver outdoor, play-based educational activities tailored to the age group. Responsibilities include planning and leading hands‑on nature activities, ensuring children’s safety during outdoor explorations, fostering social and emotional development, and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Additional duties include collaborating with team members, engaging with families, and preparing materials for daily lessons.

• Experience in early childhood education, outdoor education, or similar fields
• Knowledge of child development principles and ability to create age‑appropriate learning activities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to build meaningful relationships with families and colleagues
• Commitment to fostering creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning through nature‑based experiences
• Ability to adapt lessons for diverse learning styles and needs
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
• Background in environmental education or related fields is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred
