Job Summary
Assistant Professor (tenure‑track, 9‑month), Department of Management, Monte Ahuja College of Business, Cleveland State University. Position begins August 17, 2026.
Teaching 18 credit hours per academic year at the undergraduate or graduate levels (onsite and online), conduct research in line with college expectations, and engage in service at departmental, college, and university levels.
Responsibilities- Teach 18 credit hours per academic year, including both on‑site and online courses, at undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Conduct scholarly research in management with a focus on human resource topics.
- Participate in department, college, and university service activities.
- Doctoral degree or ABD in Human Resources or an equivalent discipline from an AACSB‑accredited university (terminal degree completed by July 1, 2026). ABD candidates will begin at the rank of Instructor.
- Primary interest and experience teaching Human Resource Management courses, with evidence of teaching at least two relevant sections.
- Active research record in management journals covering HR topics.
- Successful teaching experience of HR courses at an AACSB‑accredited university.
- A research record demonstrating impact in the field of HR or showing potential for significant impact.
