Constellation Schools are seeking a highly qualified K‑8th Grade Music Teacher who is dedicated to providing a superior education for all students. We want teachers who are passionate about bringing the curriculum to life and creating a positive classroom environment that prioritizes student learning and social‑emotional development.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans, modifying them as needed throughout the school year
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and development
• Use research‑based best practices in daily planning and instruction
• Manage student behavior and create a supportive learning environment
• Use school‑approved curricula that reflect students’ diverse backgrounds
• Implement school‑wide culture expectations and norms
• Communicate with families about academic and social‑emotional growth
• Integrate technology into classroom practice to support learning
• Participate in planning and implementation of non‑instructional activities
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications include:

• Active and current Ohio teaching license in the appropriate content area
• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
• Comfort in a growth‑focused coaching environment with frequent observations, debriefs, and progress monitoring
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage confidential information
• Capability to supervise students of various ages in multiple school settings
• Pass federal and state criminal background checks
• Experience working within an urban environment

The salary range for this position is $38,500–$48,000. Benefits include paid time off, retirement contributions, optional life and AD&D insurance, voluntary life and disability insurance, and career advancement opportunities.
