Paraprofessional - Preschool - Special Education; Two

Internal applicants have until Tuesday, June 23, 2026 to apply.

Under the supervision of the building principal and the classroom teacher, assist the teacher in the preparation of classroom tasks and supervise kindergarten students at lunch and recess times.

Minimum of 7.0 hours/day, 5 days/week, 195 days/year.

Elementary School Parapro Day: 8:15 AM - 3:45 PM, Monday - Friday.

• 2 years of college coursework
• OR an Associate's Degree or higher
• OR high school diploma with the passage of the Para Pro Assessment prior to employment
• One year of related successful work experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience in operating basic office equipment, such as copiers
• Ability to lift equipment, supplies and/or children weighing at least forty (40) pounds
• Physical ability to perform all of the essential functions of the job.
• An active Educational Aide Permit (1-Year or 4-Year) or a teaching license issued by the Ohio Department of Education

Experience working with students with special needs.

$17.47/hour (non-degreed); $19.74/hour (2-year degree); $21.50/hour (Teaching Certificate).
