Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Math Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting at-risk youth and providing them with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in their academic and personal lives. • Instruction and Curriculum Delivery:
  Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging math lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students. Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet the learning needs of all students, including those who are at-risk or have previously struggled with traditional schooling. Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students as needed.
• Student Support and Engagement:
  Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Build strong relationships with students to understand their individual challenges and motivations. Provide academic and emotional support to help students overcome barriers to learning.
• Assessment and Evaluation:
  Design and administer assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding. Use assessment data to inform instruction and provide timely feedback to students. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress.
• Collaboration and Professional Development:
  Work collaboratively with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to create a cohesive and supportive school community. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education and mathematics instruction. Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives and programs.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Valid Ohio teaching license with a mathematics endorsement.
• Experience:
  
  Previous teaching experience, preferably in a high school or alternative education setting. Experience working with at-risk youth or in a dropout recovery program is highly desirable.
• Skills and Abilities:
  
  Strong knowledge of high school math curriculum and instructional strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
