Description of Position

The principal is the lead administrator for the school building. This includes, but not limited to, establishing a positive educational climate, engaging in a variety of supportive management and organizational tasks, provide direction and implementing the educational program, manages school/ parent/community relations, collaboratively set and lead school-wide academic goals, and oversee academic, and student activities. This position reports directly to the Superintendent.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid/Appropriate Ohio Principal Licensure
• Previous administrative experience
• Embraces diversity and exhibits cultural proficiency
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a classroom teacher preferred
• Documented evidence of a clear criminal FBI and BCI record

Preferred Qualifications

• Embodies high ethical standard and integrity
• Knowledge and experience leading the implementation of 21st century learning competencies of critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, and collaboration
• Google Docs proficient/Technologically advanced
• Exceptional communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and public speaking
