K-5th Grade Teacher

ACCEL Schools is hiring a highly qualified K‑5th Grade Teacher at Campy Russell Primary Academy in Cleveland, Ohio for the 2026‑2027 school year. We seek teachers who are passionate about delivering the curriculum, creating a positive classroom environment, and supporting student learning and social‑emotional development.

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans, modifying them as needed during the school year.
• Differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students.
• Maintain accurate, complete records of student progress and development.
• Utilize research‑based best practices in daily planning and classroom instruction.
• Manage student behavior and create a safe, supportive learning environment.
• Implement the school‑approved curriculum that reflects the cultural backgrounds of students.
• Enforce school‑wide culture expectations and norms.
• Communicate regularly with families about academic and social‑emotional growth.
• Integrate technology skills into daily classroom practice.
• Participate in the planning and execution of non‑instructional activities as needed.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Active and current Ohio teaching license in the appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• Comfort with a growth‑focused coaching environment that includes frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
• Capacity to supervise students in various settings (playground, cafeteria, etc.).
• Pass federal and state criminal background checks.
• Experience working in an urban environment.

• Salary range: $41,000 – $50,500. Factors influencing pay include geography, skills, education, experience and other qualifications.
