Teacher's Aide

Clearview Local Schools 7.5 hours per day High School Diploma or GED BCI/FBI background checks required Good oral and written communication skills. Good work attendance pattern Experience and capacity to work successfully with students with special needs Ability to work with staff in a team atmosphere to deliver services to students Demonstrates conscientiousness in daily work habits Educational Aide Permit Required through OH/ ODEW Instructional Support:
Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce lessons initially introduced by the teacher. IEP & Data Tracking:
Review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to understand accommodations and record daily data on student progress and behavior. Behavior Management:
Implement behavior intervention plans and de-escalate challenging situations to maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment. The ability and experience to understand and support students with diverse challenges. Personal & Physical Care:
Assist students with mobility (e.g., using walkers or wheelchairs), feeding, and personal hygiene/toileting needs as required. Supervision & Transitions:
Monitor students during non-instructional times such as recess, lunch, assemblies, and while loading/unloading school buses. Clerical Assistance:
Prepare classroom materials, organize supplies, and help maintain a clean and structured learning environment. Flexibility with scheduling needs of the building
