Responsible for maintaining a caseload of students who are participating in the "Say Yes to Education Cleveland" program, first-generation college students or students experiencing academic difficulty. Coaches encourage achievement of goals through self-assessment, reflection and connection to campus and community resources with a goal of graduation. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
* Three (3) years of experience in advising, mentoring, tutoring, student programming or student services in an educational or programming setting.
* Experience working with student population and recruitment efforts.
* Experience using an early alert/advising system powered by predictive analytics.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree, preferably in student personnel services, adult learning and development, counseling, guidance, education, or a related field of study.
