Constellation Schools are seeking an In‑School Intervention (ISI) Monitor that plays a crucial role in maintaining a productive and disciplined school environment.
About the OpportunityThe In‑School Intervention Monitor supervises and supports students assigned to in‑school intervention. The role ensures students complete assignments, adhere to school rules, and receive behavioral support to help them improve and reintegrate into the regular classroom.
Responsibilities- Monitor students in the ISI room to ensure they meet behavioral expectations and complete assignments.
- Maintain a controlled, productive environment.
- Assist students with academic work, clarifying and supporting as needed.
- Facilitate communication between students and teachers regarding assignments.
- Implement and enforce school policies related to behavior and discipline.
- Address behavioral issues constructively and professionally.
- Keep accurate records of attendance, assignments completed, and behavior incidents.
- Prepare reports for school administrators on progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop strategies for improvement.
- Participate in meetings discussing student behavior and progress.
- Provide guidance to help students understand and correct behavior; encourage reflection and positive change.
Education and Experience
- High‑school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Preferred experience working with students in a school setting or similar environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and de‑escalate challenging behaviors.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with basic computer software and educational tools.
- Ohio teaching license or certification required.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry materials as needed.
- School environment with moderate noise and activity.
- Occasional exposure to challenging behavior from students.

Compensation
:
The salary range for this position is $40,000–$45,000. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
