Pay Rate: $30/hour | Estimated Weekly Gross: $1,125
Position OverviewBreakthrough Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Math Intervention Teacher to provide targeted support for students requiring Tier 2 and Tier 3 academic interventions. This role focuses on helping scholars close achievement gaps through data-driven instruction, small-group intervention, and individualized learning plans.
The ideal candidate is passionate about student growth, collaborative problem-solving, and providing high-quality math instruction that supports academic success for all learners.
Key Responsibilities- Create, implement, and monitor intervention plans for Tier 2 and Tier 3 students
- Deliver daily targeted small-group math instruction using network-aligned curriculum
- Analyze student performance data to identify instructional needs and track progress
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and school leadership to support student achievement
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and Math Intervention PLC meetings
- Communicate effectively with families, staff, and administrators regarding student progress
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Valid Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Professional Teaching License required
- Must hold a Math content-area license
- Math Specialist Endorsement required/preferred based on district requirements
- Experience teaching mathematics preferred
- Familiarity with i-Ready Curriculum and Pathways preferred
- One year of teaching experience preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Interview Process- Qualified candidates will be contacted by Breakthrough Public Schools to schedule an interview
- Candidates will be required to present a mock lesson during the interview process
