Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–3:30 PM

Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week

Contract Length: 39 Weeks

Pay Rate: $30/hour | Estimated Weekly Gross: $1,125

Breakthrough Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Math Intervention Teacher to provide targeted support for students requiring Tier 2 and Tier 3 academic interventions. This role focuses on helping scholars close achievement gaps through data-driven instruction, small-group intervention, and individualized learning plans.

The ideal candidate is passionate about student growth, collaborative problem-solving, and providing high-quality math instruction that supports academic success for all learners.

• Create, implement, and monitor intervention plans for Tier 2 and Tier 3 students
• Deliver daily targeted small-group math instruction using network-aligned curriculum
• Analyze student performance data to identify instructional needs and track progress
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and school leadership to support student achievement
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
• Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and Math Intervention PLC meetings
• Communicate effectively with families, staff, and administrators regarding student progress

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Valid Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Professional Teaching License required
• Must hold a Math content-area license
• Math Specialist Endorsement required/preferred based on district requirements
• Experience teaching mathematics preferred
• Familiarity with i-Ready Curriculum and Pathways preferred
• One year of teaching experience preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years old
