Position
4th-5th Grade Math Teacher – Full‑time – Metro Catholic School, Cleveland, OH.
Responsibilities- Develop a positive and structured classroom environment that engages students and motivates them to succeed.
- Assume responsibility for students' academic progress with a high sense of urgency and ownership toward quantifiable results.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan units and lessons and develop expertise in implementing instruction.
- Fulfill the school's mission to educate the whole child, mind, body, and spirit.
- Take accountability for student learning and for meeting classroom performance goals.
- Use tests, assessments, classroom performance, and other designated evaluation and diagnostic tools to assess students' progress and drive instruction and intervention.
- Communicate with families of students in a positive and respectful manner.
- Participate in ongoing professional developer sessions to grow as an instructional leader.
Teachers receive weekly school‑based professional development, network‑wide PD meetings, coaching and feedback sessions from school‑site leadership, and access to nationally recognized partner organizations.

- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Must pass a background check.
Early‑career teachers (0–3 years’ experience) are paid no less than $42,000. After three years, teachers may earn at least $50,000. Experienced teachers may earn up to $73,140 for the 2025‑2026 school year for those with 20+ years of experience. Salaries are determined by years of teaching and school leadership experience and by evaluation of instructional mastery and mission alignment through an in‑person demo lesson and interview.
Promotion opportunities occur every 3–5 years based on clear and published criteria, with the potential for up to 17% increases during promotion years.
