Long-term Substitute Monitor

The Fairview Park City Schools has an opening for a long-term substitute monitor at Fairview High School/Middle School. This is for seven hours per day, starting September 1, 2026, for approximately six weeks.

Qualifications:

• Educational student monitor permit
• High school diploma
• Friendly and polite demeanor
• Ability to work well with staff, students, and parents as a member of the team
• Evidence of exceptional attendance and work record
• Evidence of strong disciplinary strategies for working with students

General duties:

• Collaborate, monitor, and report student progress of task completion
• Provide general network of assistance to students
• Communicate to staff on status and needs of students
• Monitor and promote appropriate student behavior in all areas including hallways and work areas
• Maintain accurate written student records including discipline
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by building administrator

Rate of pay:
Pay scale starts at $16.97 per hour plus benefits (proper placement per the negotiated agreement)

September 1, 2026
