The Music Settlement seeks part-time Suzuki Instructors in Piano and Strings. Since 1912, TMS has been open to everyone wanting to learn, create, celebrate, and heal with music, serving more than 9,000 members of the Greater Cleveland community each year.

• Provide high-quality Suzuki instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
• Customize teaching approaches to accommodate diverse learning styles and goals
• Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, administrative staff, and colleagues
• Participate in faculty meetings, student recitals, and occasional community engagement activities
• Maintain accurate student attendance records and uphold administrative expectations regarding scheduling and billing
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment
• Maintain on-site availability for afternoon and evening hours for individual lessons, and Tuesday evenings for Suzuki group classes

• Bachelor's degree in music or related field required;
  Master's or equivalent professional experience preferred
• At least one year of previous teaching experience required; community music school experience preferred
• Registered Suzuki training through Book 3 preferred; commitment to pursue additional training (with financial assistance) in the future
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

$40.00–$46.66 per hour for individual instruction, determined by education and experience. $42.00–$52.50 per session for Suzuki group classes based on weekly contact hours.
