---## Essential Responsibilities
* Teach Religion curriculum in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church and diocesan standards.
* Create a positive, faith-filled classroom environment that encourages student engagement and spiritual growth.
* Foster students' understanding of Scripture, Catholic doctrine, prayer, and Christian discipleship.
* Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
* Use assessments to monitor student progress and guide instruction.
* Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
* Collaborate with faculty to support curriculum planning and school initiatives.
* Participate in school liturgies, prayer services, retreats, and other faith formation activities.
* Maintain accurate grades, records, and regular communication with families.
* Support the mission of St. Thomas Aquinas School by educating the whole child—mind, body, and spirit.

---## Qualifications### Required
* ** Practicing Catholic
** committed to the teachings and mission of the Catholic Church.
* Bachelor's degree or higher.
* Strong belief that every student can achieve at high levels.
* Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families.
* Successful completion of required background checks.### Preferred
* Experience teaching Religion or in Catholic education.
* Knowledge of Catholic doctrine, Scripture, and catechetical instruction.

* ** Early Career Teachers (0–3 years):
** Starting salary of **$42,000
** or higher, with opportunities to earn **$50,000+
** after three years.
* ** Experienced Teachers:
** Competitive salary based on years of teaching and leadership experience, with compensation up to **$73,140
** for highly experienced educators.
