Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Special Education professionals eager to support compliance and case management in a dynamic K-8 environment. These full-time, contract positions last the entire school year, with up to three Compliance Manager roles open. Each specialist will be dedicated to one K-8 building close to Cleveland, OH, working collaboratively to maintain high standards for special education compliance and documentation.

This role is focused on providing critical support—rather than direct classroom instruction—to ensure students receive services that meet regulatory and district guidelines. You’ll partner with teachers, intervention specialists, and related service providers, guiding teams through the process of documentation, meetings, and compliance.

Hybrid work is available, with the option to work remotely three days per week and in-person two days per week.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
  • Valid Special Education teaching license
  • Strong knowledge of special education law, IEP compliance procedures, and best practices
  • Prior experience in case management or compliance roles preferred
  • Ability to facilitate productive meetings and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Comfort using online IEP platforms and tech tools
  • Positive, solutions-oriented attitude and attention to detail
  • Willingness to adapt to a hybrid schedule

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee IEP compliance for assigned K-8 building
  • Manage documentation and timelines for all special education cases
  • Lead and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to teachers and service providers
  • Monitor and report on compliance metrics
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure all services are delivered according to each student’s plan
