Elementary School Math Tutor

Smart Start Education, LLC seeks an Elementary School Math Tutor to provide targeted K-5 math support aligned to state standards. In this role, you will deliver small-group and one-on-one instruction, reinforce foundational skills, and prepare students for benchmark and state assessments. You will use formative data to adjust lessons, collaborate with teachers and coordinators, and track student progress. Ideal candidates are mission-driven, comfortable with diverse learners, and able to use digital tools to support remote or on-site sessions in a flexible, school-partnered environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small-group and one-on-one math tutoring for elementary students aligned to state standards.
• Plan and adapt lessons using Smart
• Start curricula and school-provided materials.
• Use formative assessments to monitor progress and adjust instruction.
• Support students' test readiness for benchmark and state assessments.
• Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and school leaders on student goals.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, and growth.
• Use digital tools to deliver remote or hybrid tutoring sessions as needed.
• Create an encouraging, inclusive learning environment for diverse learners.
• Communicate student progress and needs to supervisors and school partners.
• Participate in training and professional development offered by Smart
• Start Education.
