PositionCustomer Service Engineer II
Responsibilities- Service MRI imaging equipment in the Cleveland area with appropriate service level based on experience.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision.
- Deliver timely and effective repairs and provide adequate operator training to ensure optimal system performance, resulting in superior customer satisfaction.
- Manage financial performance within territory, meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management.
- Manage company assets, including company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
- Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, and perform necessary administrative duties accurately.
- Knowledge and experience performing service, preventive maintenance, and modifications on medical imaging equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.

- Experience testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in the use of tools and service test equipment.
- General understanding of the principles of electricity, power supplies, and grounding.
- Minimum high school diploma; technical associate’s degree or equivalent preferred.
- Proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment, able to work individually and within a team.
- Proficiency in all necessary network applications and tools (eVO, Butler, MS Office, Concur, NAM Customer Service website – Engineer Tools).
- 3+ years’ experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.
- Valid driver’s license, ability to drive independently day and night, and a good driving record.
- Lifting 50 lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high‑reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone.
- Excellent judgment in customer relations and managing company resources; strong competency in instrument systems technology, including mechanics, electrical, chemistry, and software technology; experience with electronics, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Proof of valid identification (photo, driver’s license, SSN).
