Mechanical Engineer

Overview

Adecco has partnered with an aerospace engineering organization to hire a Mechanical Engineer II with rotating machine experience. This role focuses on the design, development, analysis, and testing of complex rotating equipment used in aerospace applications. The ideal candidate has direct experience with rotating machinery and a strong mechanical design background.

• Design mechanical components and assemblies for rotating machines
• Develop CAD models and detailed 2D drawings (Solid Works preferred)
• Perform tolerance stack-up, bearing load, and pre-load calculations
• Support proposals, testing, qualification, and production engineering activities
• Participate in design, manufacturing, and test reviews
• Support testing of new and legacy products
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams
• Identify design improvements and cost-reduction opportunities
• Communicate progress, risks, and technical issues clearly and proactively

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 4+ years of mechanical engineering experience in a design/manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of GD&T and mechanical design principles
• CAD experience;
  Solid Works preferred (CATIA is a plus)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively

• Familiarity with DO-160, ARP
  4754A, ARP
  4761
