Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Cleveland-based team and play a key role in the design and delivery of complex MEP systems across industrial and residential projects. This is a hands‑on, technical position for an engineer who enjoys solving real-world design challenges and supporting projects from concept through construction.

• Design and engineer mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and MEP process systems for industrial and residential facilities
• Develop and review designs for pumping networks, HVAC, and heating systems
• Review MEP systems for code compliance, constructability, and energy efficiency improvements
• Prepare construction sequencing plans and contribute to overall project schedules
• Support construction by facilitating problem‑solving between MEP subcontractors
• Identify and validate MEP design issues and recommend alternative engineering solutions
• Assist with the receipt, review, and coordination of MEP submittals
• Track, log, and update MEP changes and as‑built information on field drawings

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC system design
• Strong knowledge of applicable codes, specifications, permitting, and zoning requirements
• Experience designing MEP process systems in both industrial and residential environments
• Proficiency with Intergraph CAD platforms
• Experience using Trane TRACE for load calculations and system analysis
• Strong working knowledge of Revit or similar design CAD software
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines
