Construction Consulting Engineer

Under administrative direction, provides engineering advisory services related to divisional or departmental projects and activities. Performs other job‑related duties as required.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or Business Administration required. Four years of full‑time paid experience in project management of information systems required. Must have a State of Ohio Professional Engineer's License (or a temporary license with a permanent license obtained within 90 days). Project/Program Management certification preferred. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and Projects, and familiarity with project controls systems required.

Valid State of Ohio Driver's License required.

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering required. Ten years of full‑time paid experience in building construction or building code enforcement, including two years in commercial plans examination, required. Must hold a license to practice in Ohio and be certified by the Ohio Board of Building Standards as a Master Plans Examiner (or obtain within six months). Building Official certification preferred.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required. Four years of full‑time paid engineering or construction experience in the design or construction of roads and bridges required. Must have a State of Ohio Professional Engineer's License (or temporary license with permanent license within 90 days). Computer proficiency in spreadsheets and typing; working knowledge of AutoCAD required. Valid State of Ohio Driver's License required. Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds and take measurements.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field required;
Master’s preferred. Two years of full‑time paid general engineering experience required (two years can substitute for each year of college lacking). Valid State of Ohio Driver's License required. Must have a Professional Engineer's License.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required. Five years of full‑time paid engineering or traffic engineering experience required. Must hold a Professional Engineer's License or obtain it within six months. Computer proficiency and working knowledge of related software required. Valid State of Ohio Driver's License required.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field required;
Master’s preferred. Ten years of full‑time paid experience as an engineer required. Must be a registered Professional Engineer in Ohio (or have an out‑of‑state license with an Ohio PE applied for and obtained within four months). Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software required. Preferred: knowledge of distribution system hydraulics; experience with water, wastewater, electric utilities or consulting firms.

Master’s preferred. Must be a registered Professional Engineer in Ohio (or obtain within four months). Three years of full‑time paid experience in distribution substation engineering, GIS, and AutoCAD required; five years preferred. Valid State of Ohio Driver's License required.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET‑accredited institution required;
Master’s preferred. Must be a registered Professional Engineer in Ohio (or obtain within four months). Three years of full‑time paid experience in civil engineering, GIS, and AutoCAD required; five years preferred. Valid State of Ohio Driver's License required.
