Our client, a leading organization in the automotive industry, is seeking a dedicated Application Development Chemist to join their team. As an Application Development Chemist, you will be part of the R&D department supporting product development and innovation initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Application Development Chemist

Location: Cleveland, OH

Pay Range: $33.00

Shift: 8am-4:30pm (30 min lunch)

What's the Job?
  • Support developing and maintaining products for Auto OEM customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new color and product development, as well as technology cost and improvement projects.
  • Follow experimental procedures, generate reliable data, and contribute to experiment design.
  • Lead independent projects or segments of larger projects, utilizing project management skills.
  • Apply root cause analysis and BPI tools to resolve technical, manufacturing, and field issues.
What's Needed?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related Engineering or Science field.
  • At least 2 years of coating experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Preferably experienced with Oracle, Quality Tool, Colorportal, LFA, NPD/Indx.
