Electronics Technician Level III Job Description
As an Electronics Technician Level III, you will be responsible for the repair, overhaul, and testing of aircraft electrical components and subcomponents. This role primarily involves bench work and requires a detailed understanding of the interrelationships of circuits. You will perform tasks such as troubleshooting, diagnosing, disassembling, assembling, repairing, and testing electronic assemblies and subassemblies, including circuit cards and electrical controls.
Responsibilities- Repair, overhaul, and test aircraft electrical components and subcomponents as required by work orders.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, disassemble, assemble, repair, and test electronic assemblies and subassemblies to the component level.
- Exercise independent judgment in performing circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, and tracing relationships in signal flow.
- Use complex test instruments such as digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment.
- Disassemble, prepare, and inspect components, subassemblies, and final assemblies such as various aerospace and avionics systems and components.
- Verify final systems for completeness and operation before final inspection and shipping.
- Utilize test equipment like oscope, microscope, huntron, pinpoint, CCA and component troubleshooting devices, and volt/multimeter to locate and identify malfunctions.
- Support the Quality System by following procedures, work order instructions, and documenting records to meet AS-9100 and AS-9110 regulations.

Work EnvironmentWork in a clean, temperature-controlled facility primarily performing bench work. Collaborate with around 20 other technicians in an environment that adheres to AS-9100 standards. The role is FAA Safety Sensitive and requires a drug test.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Cleveland, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
