Global Technology Integration Senior Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Global Technology Integration Coordinator drives technology integration activities for the Industrial Segment. The primary responsibility is to lead the introduction of existing and new products from around the globe into new advanced manufacturing processes. In addition to executing transfers precisely, this role aligns global technical and operations processes to reduce cost and complexity and optimize the manufacturing footprint. Projects include global technology transfers, process improvement, and complexity reduction.

Establishing a routine cadence of communication with the extended organization and decision makers at various levels, the role works to transform the global manufacturing footprint through the following projects:

• Regional Technology Transfers – drive regional movement of technology (products) to ensure full utilization and optimization of the manufacturing footprint using the defined technology transfer process and small agile work teams.
• Global Technology Transfers – work with cross-discipline teams from around the globe to introduce new technologies to defined regions. This may involve manufacturing process development for never-before-commercialized products or localizing existing technology. Support capital investment processes through data collection and business case development for the Industrial Segment.
• Process Improvements and Complexity Reduction – align technical and engineering work teams to ensure formulations and processes produce high quality and consistency at an optimum cost structure.

In this role, the Senior Global Technology Integration Coordinator will manage several projects across regions and with multiple work teams. They will develop effective project plans, use standard project management methodologies, and conclude projects on time with defined deliverables. Projects should be driven to realize value quickly, with precise execution, adherence to process, and commitments to customers and peers met as a core responsibility.

Alignment to the Industrial Segment Strategy

This position assists in transforming the business by preparing the organization for change, ensuring successful manufacturing of existing and new products, and promoting the development of new advanced manufacturing processes.

Experience and Education

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or engineering plus three (3) or more years of direct experience in coatings. Previous experience working across regions and managing project teams is critical.

Functional and Technical Skills

• Demonstrated technical expertise in product attributes and customer requirements. Strong scientific knowledge and technical judgment, with training in statistical tools such as Six Sigma Green Belt (or ability to obtain within six months after hire).
• Demonstrated track record of success in coatings-related projects. Experience in design of experiments (DoE), project management, data analysis, and basic financial and business case analysis is desired.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Fluent English required.
• This is a global position but based in the Americas with travel up to 30% of the time.
