Instrument Maker Apprentice: Precision Machining Tech

Sierra Lobo, Inc. is seeking an Instrument Maker Technician Apprentice in Cleveland, Ohio. This entry-level position provides 8,000 hours of on-the-job training under journeyman levels technicians, aimed at fulfilling the state of Ohio and NASA’s apprenticeship requirements. Candidates should have completed a two-year Associate degree program in Precision Machining Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or Mechanical Engineering Technology, and must be team-oriented and safety-conscious.

Specialized technical skills will be taught through hands-on fabrication and assembly of intricate instrumentation hardware used in research test facilities.
