About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Surveyor to join our growing team in Cleveland, Ohio. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of land development, infrastructure, and environmental projects, supporting multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate, high-quality surveying solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of surveying tasks, including topographic surveys, boundary surveys, construction staking, and as-built surveys.
  • Manage survey projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Collect, process, and analyze field data using industry‑standard equipment and software.
  • Prepare detailed survey drawings, maps, and reports for internal teams and clients.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to support project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain survey equipment and ensure proper calibration and use.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a Project Surveyor or similar role.
  • Proficiency with surveying equipment (e.g., GPS, total stations, laser scanners, drones).
  • Experience with software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Experience working on land development, transportation, or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with GIS and/or reality capture technologies (LiDAR, photogrammetry).
