AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineering Intern for employment in the Cleveland, Ohio office. The intern can look forward to projects with a focus on remediation and site‑civil design for a remarkably diverse client portfolio. AECOM is searching for candidates that have excellent communication skills, skillful writing skills, ambition to learn new skills, and the ability to work well with others.
This position is expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2026.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Perform design calculations for remediation and civil design projects under the supervision of a professional engineer.
- Assist in design and production of issues for construction (IFC) documents; develop project drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D, and technical specifications using MS Word.
- Assist project manager/project engineer in preparation of planning documents, permitting documents, report writing, and development of cost estimates.
- Assist with active construction project document control activities; review of construction submittal/requests for information (RFIs), generation of meeting agenda/meeting minutes, and assist in the production of record drawings.
- Assist with report writing and project management tasks.
