Danfoss is seeking a Lead Technician to support testing, validation, and continuous improvement activities for industrial clutch and brake products. This role operates within a fast‑paced engineering and manufacturing environment and is responsible for executing experiments, maintaining test equipment readiness, and ensuring reliable, high‑quality product performance. This position plays a critical role in supporting product development and production by analyzing test results, maintaining equipment standards, and enabling continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Be DoingResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Set up, execute, and document engineering experiments to support product development, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Analyze and interpret test data to identify trends, evaluate product performance, and support engineering recommendations
- Maintain and verify calibration of test equipment to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with established standards
- Perform basic fabrication and assembly of test fixtures and prototypes to support testing activities
- Troubleshoot and support technical equipment to ensure consistent and efficient operation in test and manufacturing environments
- Collaborate with engineering and cross‑functional teams to improve testing processes and product performance
Required qualifications
- Associate degree, two‑year technical degree in a relevant field, or relevant work experience in a similar field
- Minimum of five years of relevant technical or manufacturing experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands‑on experience using test equipment and manufacturing tools
- Proficiency with instrumentation and related software used for test setup, data acquisition, and analysis
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or a related field
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining technical equipment in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Hands‑on experience with industrial clutches and brakes, including assembly, testing, troubleshooting, or maintenance
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new and existing technologies quickly and effectively
- Highly detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and proactive with a strong sense of ownership
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including sitting or standing for extended periods
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs
