This role combines program delivery, client leadership, and business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Program Management
    • Manage a multiple task order program consisting of EPA Superfund Remediation task orders.
    • Interact with EPA and other stakeholders including regional leadership, national programs, state and local agencies.
    • Support teaming strategies, capture planning, and proposal development.
    • Perform work with minimal direction, reporting to the program manager and interacting with corporate leadership.
  • Project Management
    • Responsible for project scope, schedule, budget, and quality performance.
    • Manage and direct professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects.
    • Perform regular client interaction on technical/cost/schedule topics.
    • Analyze financial statements and complete budget tracking.
    • Lead execution of complex remediation projects including RI/FS, RD/RA, risk assessments, and sediment/soil/groundwater remediation.
    • Ensure compliance with CERCLA, RCRA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
    • Oversee preparation of work products.
    • Supervise senior, junior, and mid-level staff.
  • BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field plus 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalence.
  • US citizenship required.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
  • Background check, motor vehicle records, and medical surveillance program required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Sr. Project and/or Program/Deputy Program Manager experience on EPA contracts.
  • 10+ years of experience managing large environmental remediation projects under EPA and USACE contracts.
  • Experience serving in Program-level leadership role and managing multiple task orders.
  • Client-facing experience with seller-doer ambitions.
  • Professional License (PE, PG) in Upper Midwest/Great Lakes Regional States.
  • 12+ years’ experience in environmental remediation including soil, groundwater, sediment, and emerging contaminants projects.
  • Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering or related degree.
  • Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations.
  • Experience with community relations and public meetings.
  • Thorough working knowledge of RCRA, CERCLA and federal contracting requirements.
  • Experience in team management and scheduling staff and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.
  • Superior communication, writing, editing, and reporting skills for a wide variety of audiences.
  • Experience and expertise preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders.
  • Experience with capture management of Federal Remediation Opportunities and overall business development.
  • Lead teams of professionals executing Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessment, Treatability Studies.
