This is a full‑time, on‑site Engineering and Maintenance Manager role based in Greater Cleveland. The Engineering and Maintenance Manager will lead and coordinate all maintenance activities for plant equipment, facilities, and utilities to ensure safe, reliable, and cost‑effective operations. Responsibilities include planning and overseeing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, troubleshooting complex equipment issues, and managing maintenance and repair work to minimize downtime.
The role will supervise and develop a multidisciplinary maintenance team, allocate resources, manage contractors, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. The manager will collaborate closely with operations, engineering, and HSE teams to support continuous improvement, capital projects, and equipment upgrades, while tracking key performance indicators and maintenance budgets.
- Strong supervisory skills with experience leading, coaching, and developing maintenance or engineering teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in equipment maintenance and maintenance & repair for industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and manage preventive maintenance and maintenance management programs.
- Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems commonly used in process and manufacturing plants.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in foundry, steel, metals processing, or heavy manufacturing is highly advantageous.
- Strong focus on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement, including root cause analysis and reliability‑centered maintenance.
- Proficiency with CMMS software, maintenance planning tools, and basic data analysis for performance tracking.
- Effective communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally on‑site.
