Overview

As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll join a collaborative and innovative team dedicated to evaluating and designing power systems for power‑generating facilities. This role is ideal for early‑career professionals (1–3 years of experience) who are ready to take the next step in their engineering journey and expand their technical expertise in a dynamic environment.

• Work closely with engineers from other disciplines, gaining valuable cross‑functional experience and learning how electrical systems integrate into broader project scopes.
• Manage your own assignments with minimal supervision, balancing budget, scope, schedule, and quality while delivering precise, code‑compliant engineering documents such as drawings, calculations, and technical evaluations.
• Ground your work in the latest industry codes, standards, and safety practices, especially those relevant to the nuclear sector, and contribute to high‑quality deliverables that align with client expectations and ENERCON’s rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) standards.
• Build strong client relationships through clear communication and professional collaboration, and have opportunities to travel to plant sites to interface with client personnel, perform walk‑downs, and bring your designs to life.

• Completed a bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university.
• Available to start in the next 1–2 months.
• Solid working foundation with core concepts of your major.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor and effectively in teams.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
• Must navigate client sites to conduct walk‑downs.
• Must work outside.
• Willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings.
• Some roles may require employees to be U.S. citizens; only U.S. citizens will be considered for those positions.

• Pass pre‑employment, random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client‑specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) checks according to company and client policies.

The salary range for this full‑time position is $80,000.00 – $99,600.00. Salary ranges are determined by a combination of role, level, experience, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
