** The Impact You'll Make*
* Danfoss is seeking a Lead Technician to support testing, validation, and continuous improvement activities for industrial clutch and brake products. This role operates within a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment and is responsible for executing experiments, maintaining test equipment readiness, and ensuring reliable, high-quality product performance. This position plays a critical role in supporting product development and production by analyzing test results, maintaining equipment standards, and enabling continuous improvement initiatives.

** What You'll Be Doing*
* Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

+ Set up, execute, and document engineering experiments to support product development, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives

+ Analyze and interpret test data to identify trends, evaluate product performance, and support engineering recommendations

+ Maintain and verify calibration of test equipment to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with established standards

+ Perform basic fabrication and assembly of test fixtures and prototypes to support testing activities

+ Troubleshoot and support technical equipment to ensure consistent and efficient operation in test and manufacturing environments

+ Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and product performance

** What We're Looking For*
* Required qualifications

+ Associate degree, two-year technical degree in a relevant field, or working expereince in similar field

+ Minimum of five years of relevant technical or manufacturing experience

+ Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using test equipment and manufacturing tools

+ Proficiency with instrumentation and related software used for test setup, data acquisition, and analysis

+ Preferred qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or a related field

+ Experience troubleshooting and maintaining technical equipment in an engineering or manufacturing environment

+ Hands-on experience with industrial clutches and brakes, including assembly, testing, troubleshooting, or maintenance

Job Criteria

+ Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new and existing technologies quickly and effectively

+ Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong sense of ownership

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams

+ Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including sitting or standing for extended periods

+ Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs
