Your new challenge:
In this position, you will be part of our engineering department and actively contribute to both the stable operation of our production facilities and technical modernizations and optimizations. Your responsibilities will include: operational maintenance and analysis and sustainable resolution of malfunctions in production facilities, technical support of the maintenance team and documentation in the maintenance system, optimization of plant availability, process safety, and energy efficiency, participation in modernization, retrofit, and new plant projects, support and development of HMI, SCADA, and MES systems, optimization and creation of PLC programs (e.g., Siemens S7, TIA Portal), parameterization of drives, servo controllers, and fieldbus systems (e.g., PROFINET, PROFIBUS), support and optimization of industrial image processing systems (e.g., Cognex In-Sight/Explorer, Keyence).
Your profile:
Education:
Completed studies in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, or a comparable engineering science degree.
Experience:
Several years of experience in the maintenance of a manufacturing company or in special machinery construction.
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of automation and control technology as well as in the fault analysis of complex production facilities, supplemented by experience in drive, sensor, and actuator technology; ideally experience in plant optimizations or technical modernizations. Working style:
Analytical and structured working style with a strong focus on results, high sense of responsibility, and strong problem-solving skills. Technical knowledge:
Confident use of MS Office and PLC systems (e.g., Siemens S7, TIA Portal), ideally including fault search and programming; confident in reading and adjusting circuit diagrams (EPLAN) and knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g., VDE, machine directives, DGUV); desirable knowledge of industrial image processing (e.g., Cognex In-Sight/Explorer, Keyence). Language skills:
Fluent German (C1) and very good English (B2) skills.
